First formed in 1954, R & S Companies is now a third-generation, family business with deep roots in the Miami community. We have been here through some of the toughest times in the history of this city; we led the charge in rebuilding and respecification of building standards after Hurricane Andrew and are proud of the role that we played. As part of the committee assembled to establish a new statewide building code, we have done much to protect the citizens of Florida from the tropical, and often unpredictable, weather that we enjoy.
